The beach is open to the public and staffed by lifeguards during daylight hours. Restrooms and outdoor showers are located at 14th Street and 10th Street. The water is clean and clear and great for swimming. Voted one of the ten best beaches in the world by The Travel Channel for 1999 and 2001.
